By accessing or using Lernt ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

Lernt is an AI-powered learning app for iPhone that generates personalized educational content including courses, lessons, and quizzes. Content is generated dynamically using artificial intelligence based on your input.

3. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

4. Subscriptions

Lernt offers a free tier with monthly generation limits and a paid subscription, Lernt Pro, with higher limits. Lernt Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription purchased through Apple's App Store and billed to your Apple Account.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase
• The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings at any time
• Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access until the end of the paid period
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies
• We may change subscription prices with notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods

5. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by the Service is produced by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies, errors, or outdated information. Lernt does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content. You should independently verify any information before relying on it, particularly for professional, medical, legal, or financial decisions.

6. User Content and Community

The Service lets you publish courses you have generated so other users can enroll in them. Content you publish remains yours, but you grant us a license to host and display it to other users of the Service. We may review, moderate, or remove published content that violates these terms, and you can report objectionable content through the app or by contacting support.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Use the Service to generate or publish content that is harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without prior written consent

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Lernt and protected by intellectual property laws. AI-generated content created through the Service for your personal learning use is yours to keep and use. However, the underlying prompts, algorithms, and systems used to generate that content remain the property of Lernt.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lernt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising from or related to your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Terminating your account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription — manage that in your App Store account settings.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
